~Moments Up North~

So good to be home again!

We were gone for a week up North in the Seattle area- visiting family mostly, but we still had some opportunity for a bit of 'out and about'.

Here are our moments in pictures . . .

If you walk across the pass on foot, this is what you see over the itty bitty guardrail when you look down! Yes- I am a totally chicken when it comes to heights! 

Stopping in Coupeville for shopping, ice cream and eventually dinner . . .

(though there are hardly any pictures of them here since they took off the moment we parked the car)

Finally found the kids and were able to take a quick family photo. Thank you nice lady who offered!

Then down to the beach . . .

 . . . and superb rock skipping.

We took a short jaunt across the Puget Sound in a ferry- gorgeous evening for it . . .

And spent our last night up North with this little cutie and her parents . . .

She dressed up her Uncle . . . isn't he a stunning pirate? ;)

Before heading home the next day, a quick stop to say hello to Grandma and Grandpa and escape the heat in their pool . . .

And now the majority of the laundry has been washed, the suitcases finally put away and some picture sorting is done. 
Time flies and we're on to the Fourth of July and celebrating our country's birthday once again. Family, food and fireworks- the 3 'f's of the Fourth!
